I am a convinced American big tech blocker, because all of them actively support and fund an autocratic, fascist regime that is reckless, selfish, indifferent about human lives, lies knowingly and maliciously and is a danger to the world and everything good we built up in the last decades. Everyone who has an account on Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn or is buying from Amazon and Tesla, is legitimizing and supporting the regime. Which in fact means you have blood on your hands as e.g. USAID is cancelled, Ukraine is blackmailed, pressured, and abandoned, people in the US are deported, resulting in dehumanization and even loss of lives, funding of the World Health Organization was stopped (f*ck you Africa), withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement, Europe should be ‘white and christian’, the attacks on the International Criminal Court (which I consider a declaration of war), blocking .com domains of innocent European organizations…. The list of acts of cruelty goes on and on. Trump is nothing but an extreme right dictator and not one bit better than Putin. And guess who paid for Trump’s 300 million dollar White House ballroom? That’s right: Meta and Amazon. Zuck and Bezos don’t give a shit about the world, they don’t give a shit about you.

In fact, they are taking advantage of you. The social media you are using is the new slavery, because the billionaires use you. Because of you they are billionaires. You work for them, for free. But you don’t pull the plug out of social media, because your fear of losing followers outweighs participation in the lie. Or as Václav Havel, Czech dissident and politician, put it: “Those who accept living in the lie are themselves active participants in the dictatorship”.

I respect your (different) opinion, just don’t cry about how the world is changing and at the same time still support big tech or anything else American. It’s one or the other. But if you agree with me, then grow some balls and:

Stop. Consuming. American.

It also means I will not be sending my book to the USA and that I have stopped giving masterclasses to Americans.
